This is one of the most original and improvised confection we have for offering. Perfectly blended with caramel are marshmallows, raisins and salty peanuts and pretzels.
Some of the best things to mankind has happened in a rush situation. While the previous statement may be less than accurate, it truly applies to Monster Mix. Here's why:
On the evening of our very first Halloween when faint cries and laughter of Trick or Treaters outside could be heard from afar, this was indeed a trialing time, for the reputation of the town's newly opened chocolate shop was at stake. We had run out of ideas for coming up with something creative just for Halloween. In desperation and with a sense of urgency, we scrounged what we could find, mixed it with chocolate chips and dumped the mix in festive bags to give away. The result was this frighteningly delicious mix and we couldn't help but giggle at our rushed invention. The next logical point from thereon would be to actually add this mix to a chocolate batch and watch the monstrously thick bark unfold! Thus was born the Monster Mix bark. But the story doesn't end here. The trick or treaters that year were in for a real treat. We decided we would make Monster Mix every year as an exclusive Halloween special... that is, until people started asking for it way after Halloween was over! And that's how Monster Mix became part of our 'Hall of Fame', which includes a selection of goodies we're sure to make all year round.
Packaged in a clear plastic bag that helps retain freshness when stored in a cool and dry place.
Due to their thickness, each piece can be about 7-8 ounces. So there will be about 2 pieces per pound. Please note that although the weight of each piece varies, we make sure to weigh them and give you exactly what you ordered (or slightly more).
This bark is very, very good. I bought both dark and milk. Highly recommend!
This chocolate is a slice of heaven! Worth every penny!
